Shop the setHow long do press-on nails last?
One to two weeks with good prep and glue. Adhesive tabs give shorter wear, usually a few days. How much you use your hands makes a difference too.
How long does it take to apply press-on nails?
About ten minutes: roughly three minutes of prep and five to seven to apply. Our application guide walks through each step.
Can you shower with press-on nails?
Yes. Wait an hour after applying so the bond can set. After that, showers, handwashing, and normal water are fine. Wear gloves for long dishwashing or cleaning sessions, since long soaks in hot water loosen the adhesive.
Are press-on nails bad for your nails?
Not when they're removed properly. Damage almost always comes from pulling or peeling nails off before the adhesive releases. Soak first, then wiggle gently. More in Are Press-On Nails Bad for Your Natural Nails?
How do you know what size press-on nails to get?
Measure each nail at its widest point before you order, using our Nail Sizing Guide. If you're between two sizes, size down. It's normal to be a different size on each finger.
Can you file press-on nails?
We don't recommend it. Every Nailoli nail arrives fully shaped and finished, and filing it will affect the finish. Choosing the right size does more for fit than filing.
Can you use press-on nails without glue?
Yes. Every Nailoli set includes adhesive tabs, which hold without any liquid glue. Tabs are quicker to apply and easier to remove, and they usually last a few days. Glue holds longer. Read Nail Glue vs. Adhesive Tabs for help choosing.
How do you make press-on nails last longer?
Prep is the biggest factor. Buff the shine off your natural nails, wipe each one with an alcohol pad right before you apply, use glue instead of tabs, and keep your hands out of water for the first hour. More in How to Make Your Press-On Nails Last Longer.
How do you remove press-on nails?
Soak your fingertips in warm, soapy water for 10 to 15 minutes, then gently wiggle each nail from the base until it lifts. Never pull, twist, or peel. If a nail resists, soak longer. See our full removal guide.
Can you reuse press-on nails?
Yes, if you remove them gently and store them well. Clean the adhesive off each nail and keep them in their case. See how to store your press-on nails.
What comes in the kit?
Every set comes with nail glue, adhesive tabs, a nail file, a buffing block, a cuticle pusher, an alcohol pad, and a case for your nails.
